We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator to join our friendly team in Congleton, Cheshire.

Important note:  To apply and be considered for this role you MUST reside in the UK and be able to easily commute to Congleton on a daily basis. 

About the role
The role of Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator involves working within a passionate team responsible for fabricating and welding various products to the highest standards. Key activities will include:

• Successfully achieving the daily planned production schedule. 
• Maintaining and striving to improve, production quality.
• Contributing to the smooth operation of the workshop.

About the hours & rewards
As a Sheet Metal Worker/ Fabricator, you will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week (Day shift only) and the benefits are:

• A salary of £13.00 - £15.00 per hour (dependant on experience).
• Daytime & weekday work only / Early finish Fridays (No weekend work – unless on overtime).
• 4 weeks plus 8 days statutory holiday (New holiday scheme pending).

About you
The ideal candidate for the role of Sheet Metal Worker/ Fabricator,  must have a professional approach to work and possess the drive and energy to contribute to a flexible, fast-paced environment. You must also have / be:

• A background and experience in the fabrication industry. 
• A good understanding of sheet metal working techniques and tools (experience with a Guillotine, Cold Saw and Sheet Metal Rollers etc.).
• Ability to fabricate and work from drawings.
• Ability to work under own initiative or supervision to achieve tight deadlines and a high quality standard.
• Be reliable, flexible and punctual and able to work well with others as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Mig/Tig welding would be advantageous
