About the role As Administration Manager your core duties will include:
Maintaining and enhancing the organisations’ human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programmes, and practices
Maintain and enhance the organisations Health & Safety
Implement the quality management policies across the organization
Provide PA support to the Managing Director with day-to-day business requirements
Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, policies and procedures including research and project-based work to help take the business forward
Support the office team in their job to ensure deadlines are met.
About the responsibilities In the role of Administration Manager, you will:
Ensure full HR and H&S compliance and accurate records are kept
Management of the full recruitment process including sourcing strategy, interviewing, reference checking and making offers to candidates
Delivering induction training for both office and factory staff, liaising with their respective departments
Ensuring all team members appraisals are conducted and take ownership of the continual updating of the employee handbook
Undertake risk assessments and consider how risks can be reduced within the business
Conduct research (including internet) and present findings, making recommendations where appropriate to the Managing Director
Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Managing Director
Arrange flights, visas, and accommodations
Screen phone calls, inquiries and requests and direct them to the right person
Meeting and greeting visitors
Dealing with incoming emails and post
Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
Communicate with clients, suppliers and other staff
Implement and maintain procedures and administrative systems
Schedule and attend meetings and facilitate communication by providing relevant documentation, taking minutes of meetings and following up on actions as required
Ensure quality management is in place and the team is following all requirements
Undertake ad hoc reports and administrative duties for the wider team as required
Line Management of the Customer Services and Company Accountant overseeing their schedules and events calendar to ensure deadlines are being met
Support customer service in their work when needed
Devise and maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, policies and procedures
About you To be successful for the tole of Administration Manager, you will maintain:
Working flexibly and efficiently as part of a team and be able to liaise closely with other team members
Absolute confidentiality and discretion in all related matters to prevent disclosure of information
A calm, positive and professional approach when dealing with staff and clients
A tidy and organised environment conducive to efficient working practices
About the rewards For the role of Administration Manager, there is a salary on offer of £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
