The Role
As the Team Leader  you will be an enthusiastic and proactive individual who is passionate about leading and developing a team of people.   You will:

•    Be responsible for approximately 12 co-workers within the contact centre, ensuring they are high performing, motivated and supported individuals.  
•    Dedicate 80% of their time supporting, coaching and developing their team.
•    Need to be flexible and agile in your approach and ready to support demands within the business where necessary.
•    Exposure to underwriting is desirable.

Key Accountabilities as Team Leader
•    Monitor team performance and report on metrics
•    Provide leadership, development and coaching of co-workers
•    Actively engage and support the development of the team to ensure excellent performance
•    As part of Ikano’s commitment to treating customers fairly, ensure that the fair treatment of customers is central to everything you do
•    Lead by example, showing commitment to the company vision, values and the spirit of the organisation
•    Adhere to and ensure the adherence of all regulatory obligations in relation to process and policy
•    Create an environment of continuous improvement, acting upon customer and co-worker feedback
•    Develop an effective working environment to ensure high standards of motivation and morale
•    Exposure to underwriting
