About the role
As Apprenticeship L&D Coordinator, the key responsibility of the position is to carry out training delivery and assessment at the Academy in line with the requirements of the Ford Curriculum. The position will be responsible for providing a consistent delivery method across various technician training levels and disciplines. The objective is to provide delegates with an appropriate environment with which to be trained and assess whilst maintaining a consistently high standard of delivery, with support and guidance from Colleagues and Quality Specialist.
About the Responsibilities
Your main role as Apprenticeship L&D Coordinator will be to control and manage the registration, on programme administration and End Point Assessment process from an internal perspective. You will responsible for all online registrations with Awarding Bodies, gathering internal performance data and producing reports for the Programme Manager and Engineering Director. Key to this will be your ability to maintain impeccable learner files (both digitally and paper based) so you must have the most meticulous attention to detail - to a point of near obsession.
You will also support the wider Teaching and Assessing team with general support to ensure the programme continues to be one of the best and most successful Engineering programmes in the United Kingdom. Duties include to:- Control the administration, registration and certification for all apprentice programmes
- Maintain the performance reports for each apprentice and monitor the internal course evaluations
- Maintain meticulous filing for each apprentice to ensure regulatory and governance requirements are being met
- Ensure all apprentices are registered with the appropriate awarding bodies, on the right qualification and certificated in a timely manner
- Manage the registration process of EPA’s
- Support the programme HR support office with pastoral care, absence and pay queries
- Liaise with Ford internal departments as and when necessary with any illness, personal issues or HR matters
- Liaison with the Instructors and Assessors regarding any issues with Apprentices
- Collect internal performance reports and collate data into agreed reporting format
- Create performance reports from apprentice feedback
- Support apprentice progress measurement and tracking with administrative support for the programme manager
- Attend, contribute to and produce minutes for monthly team meetings
- Provide general administrative support and diary management to Programme Manager & Engineering Director
- Act as may be necessary in other ways to assist the organisation to meet its objectives

About the rewards
For the position of Apprenticeship L&D Coordinator, the role is flexible in terms of hours – and it is anticipated that it would be approximately 20-25 hours per week across all 5 days, preferably with a morning attendance as apprentices start early.
There is a salary on offer of up to £28,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience with 25 days annual leave (3 days set aside for Christmas shutdown).
