We are recruiting for a Mechanical Service Engineer to service and repair heavy machinery at our client’s Animal Feed and Biofuel production Sites. You will work remotely, primarily in the South of England. You’ll spend most of your time working at customer sites in the UK, but also internationally if required.

About the Role and Responsibilities As Mechanical Service Engineer you will:
Be responsible for servicing and repairing a wide variety of heavy machinery
Report to the Service Coordinator and be part of a well-established team of Service Engineers
Become part of an exciting business where you are challenged both professionally and personally
Work with competent and highly qualified colleagues from many departments both nationally and internationally.
Produce and complete Proactive Preventative Maintenance programs for the equipment

About You To be successful for the role of Mechanical Service Engineer you will need the following qualifications and experience:
An Agri engineering background would be an advantage
Basic mechanical education and practical mechanical experience
Good knowledge and experience of performing lifting and slinging tasks
Experience in servicing and mounting of mechanical drive components including heavy gearboxes and bearings
Experience from a similar job ideally from a Feed mill or Biofuel / waste processing background
Be used to working in a demanding heavy industrial environment
Knowledge of basic Electronics and Hydraulic is an advantage.

A competitive salary of £30-35K plus overtime
25 days holidays plus bank holidays
Up to 8% pension
