Description

We have an excellent opportunity available for Gas safe Registered Oil / Gas Installation Engineers to join this leading independent, family-run plumbing and heating company in Rugby, Warwickshire. You will be working in and around the Rugby and Midlands areas and positions are available for employed PAYE installers and for those who prefer to work on a sub-Contractor basis.

About the company

Our client has been providing plumbing, electric and heating services to the residents of Rugby since 1980, and proudly offer services to both domestic and commercial customers across the whole of central England fitting boilers, heating systems, air conditioning, bathrooms and gas fires for private domestic customers to a very high standard.

They offer "on the tools" support and a high level of support when needed on site and waiting for parts to arrive on site is minimal. They invest heavily in training and can upskill a new employee with any additional qualifications including air conditioning and renewable qualifications if needed with training schemes normally starting 12 months after starting the job.

About the role

As an Oil / Gas Installation Engineer the main work will be fitting boilers (mainly Worcester boilers only) or full heating systems and they are looking for someone who is able to fit, commission and test heating & hot water systems to a high standard, also part of the job involves small plumbing jobs.

About you

To be successful for the role of Oil / Gas Installation Engineer you must be Gas safe Registered and be / have:

  • Good communication skills and be able to work well under pressure
  • OFTEC and LPG is desirable but not essential
  • Have a NVQ or have been on a recognised apprentice route
  • A minimum of 5 years independent installation experience of fitting gas/oil boilers and systems

About the hours and rewards

For the role of Oil / Gas Installation Engineer you will work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, overtime and weekend work is optional and available and there is a salary on offer of £34,959 to £46,585 per annum depending on experience plus you will receive:
