Porsche Retail Group have an excellent opportunity for a Parts Apprentice to work for one of the world’s most iconic brands and join the prestigious Porsche Centre West London.  This impressive Centre is a state-of-the-art building with a Barista service coffee bar, close to public transport links, heavily subsidised parking and is located 5 minutes’ walk from Chiswick High Road, which is full of shops and restaurants.

About the role
As a Parts Apprentice, you will:

  • Effectively interpret, order and supply all customer parts requirements, ensuring that the commercial and operational requirements are met at all times
  • Source and supply the workshop with the correct parts in a efficient time frame

Core responsibilities as Parts Apprentice include to:

  • Take and qualify incoming enquiries in person, by phone or my e-mail, recommending value adding services where appropriate
  • Accurate entry of client information and orders utilising specifically designated systems
  • Ensure all documentation is raised in a timely manner and in line with company policies
  • General administration
  • Treat customers in a professional & courteous manner at all times
  • Ensure that all parts orders are dealt with in the most efficient manner, taking account of customer requirements, time scales and costs
  • Take personal responsibility for keeping customers informed of order status
  • Effect timely despatch and delivery of parts where required
  • Ensure parts records and product information files are kept updated
  • Ensure stock is located and records updated immediately
  • Actively participate in perpetual and or annual stock checks
  • Help to ensure that the department is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Maintain high standards of security
  • Provide administrative support to the Parts team as required, i.e. filing and data input
  • Support the technicians ensuring they are supplied with the correct parts and a timely manner
  • Support the workshop in delivering parts at their request
  • Answering the telephone and taking internal and external parts orders
  • Support the service advisors and updating the Visual Health Checks with the parts numbers, prices and availability
  • Take individual and team responsibility for health and safety
  • Be proactive in maintaining professional standards of personal and dealership presentation
  • Have 100% attendance at college, with the desire and ability to achieve and pass the standards and tests required to successfully complete NVQ Level 3 as part of the Porsche Apprenticeship Scheme
  • Take orders from customers both face to face and over the phone
  • Maintain an ordered stock room and finding parts from stock
  • Liaise with other members of staff

About the hours & rewards
For the role of Parts Apprentice, the hours of work are 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

There is a basic salary on offer from £17,500 per annum. You will also receive a fantastic benefits package, including:
