We have an unmissable opportunity for an experienced Surveyor Project Manager to join one of the Midlands’ leading and longest-serving independent community-focused organisations based in Bournville, Birmingham. This is a hybrid role working from home and from our clients south west Birmingham Head Office.

As a Surveyor Project Manager, you will join the Assets Planning & Commissioning Team and will play an integral part in the newly formed diverse team so you must be happy to get stuck in and help to build on what has been achieved so far to improving company services and deliver projects and your responsibilities will include:- Taking housing and commercial projects from inception to completion, deliver project management and contract administration through the project life cycle, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Delivering building surveying and project management functions within the company Planning & Commissioning team
- Promoting a culture which places customers first and aims to deliver a high standard of service
- Directly manage the delivery of capital projects and component renewal programmes
- Manage, control and forecast programme budgets and expenditure
- Undertake stock condition surveys and options appraisals, throughout the company and other managed property portfolios
About you
As a Surveyor Project Manager, you must be / have:
- Experience in Asset Management or acting as a maintenance professional
- Proven relevant experience within a technical building services environment
- Proven pre and post contract administration
- Thorough and detailed knowledge of health and safety law in relation to capital delivery projects to landlord’s obligations and requirements
- The control development, management and delivery of projects to programme budget and within time
- Excellent IT skills and ability to use a range of software including Asset Management Database
- Able to produce and present both discursive and also technical and financial reports to all levels within the organisation
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels of the organisation and with external customers and suppliers
- Understanding of planning and listed buildings

For the role of Surveyor Project Manager, there is an excellent salary on offer of £41,316.67 to £48,788.21 per annum, depending upon experience plus:
