We have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Wellbeing Services to join a leading CQC registered provider of Community Health Services. The position is based in Bolton with travel to Oldham, Stockport, and Lincolnshire. This is a fixed term role for 12 months to cover maternity leave, with an opportunity for a permanent role across the company. A full job specification will be provided on application.
About the companyOur client is an exciting fast-paced, growing community health organisation. As an experienced provider of community health services, they are CQC registered and passionate about delivering evidence based, innovative, effective and relevant health care services and are commissioned by NHS England to deliver the innovative Low Calorie Diet Programme.
The programme aims to support people who are overweight and living with type 2 diabetes to achieve weight loss, reduce their health risk factors, decrease the amount of medication they need and for some, even put their diabetes into remission and is being delivered across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
About the roleAs Head of Wellbeing Services, you will lead the Weight Management and Wellbeing services (Oldham Stockport, Lincolnshire) day-to-day operations to provide an outstanding service to people who wish to lose weight, move more, drink less alcohol, or stop smoking.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Obesity Professional Lead, Weight Management, and Wellbeing Services Quality and Improvement Lead and be directly line-managed by the Divisional Operations Leads.
About the responsibilitiesAs Head of Wellbeing Services, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day operations ensuring each service meets its expected KPIs
- Embed robust governance, health and safety, and administration procedures
- Ensure each service remains people-powered keeping the patient voice at the heart of everything you do
- Manage the Project Leads and contracts across the above services.
- Analyse Internal, local, and national data to impact and direct service outcomes and develop service plans
- Foster and encourage innovation with the staff team and partners to ensure the service engages with priority groups and priority wards/areas.
- Performance management of the service, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of all service delivery
- Represent the organization and service at local and regional stakeholder and networking events
- Working with clinical, community, social care, educational, and statutory stakeholders to deliver safe, effective, person-centred care pathways.
- Build strategic relationships across the North of England, developing opportunities to expand the work that the company does across this geography
About you
To be successful for the role of Head of Wellbeing Services, you will have / be:
- An experienced senior leader with experience in delivering excellent weight management services.
- Skilled in project management accustomed to using tools and processes to identify project goals, set and manage the schedule, anticipate, and identify issues, remove obstacles, delineate responsibility, track task completion, and communicate progress
- Experience in evolving and developing services within a complex health system.
- A positive and proactive leader with the ability to motivate, engage and support teams to achieve the highest standards and outcomes.
- A strategic thinker, able to foresee and take action to deal with problems and opportunities.
- An adept communicator who adapts the message to fit the needs of the audience
- Results orientated and naturally seek quantitative goals and actively seek to outperform them.
About the rewards
For the role of Head of Wellbeing Services there is a salary on offer of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum and benefits include:
