This excellent Care Group has a dedicated team and is a leading specialist provider who support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs within Surrey and they are seeking Support Workers for their Day Centre, home and community support.

About the role
If you are looking for a rewarding job where you can make a positive impact on someone's life, then we have an opportunity for you. Responsibilities as a Support Worker include:- Provide direct care and support to individuals in their homes, community or at our Horley Day Centre
- Assist with daily activities, personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Support individuals in attending social and recreational activities, promoting independence and inclusion
- Help clients relearn and regain skills, building their confidence and assisting them in reaching their goals
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals under your care
About you
To be successful for the role of Support Worker you must have / be:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish trust
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in maintaining accurate records
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation (essential)
- Willingness to submit to an enhanced DBS as role is exempt from rehab of offenders act
Previous experience is preferable; however, if you are a compassionate individual looking to enter the field of care, full training will be provided.
