We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Roof Truss Designer to join the largest designer and manufacturer of energy-efficient, bespoke Swedish timber frame homes in the UK in Billingshurst, West Sussex.

About the role
As a Roof Truss Designer, responsibilities include:

• Preparation of detailed truss and joist drawings
• Ensure accuracy of specifications and documentation for manufacturing team
• Working closely with colleagues to provide effective solutions   

About the hours & rewards
For the role of Roof Truss Designer there is on offer:

• A salary of between £30,000 and £40,000 per annum
• Company Pension
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
• On-site parking

About you
As a Roof Truss Designer, you must have/be:

• Ideally 3 years plus experience of Wolf design software
• Experience in other industry-standard software considered (e.g Gang-Nail/Mi-Tek as conversion option available)
• In depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction materials
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Flexible and adaptable
• Knowledge of AutoCAD advantageous
• Understanding of UK Building Regulations
• Willing to learn new design packages
• Full UK driving licence essential due to our location
