Description

Ready to take your management career to the next level?  Our client is an expanding care business and they’re looking for an ambitious, experienced Care Team Manager to join them as they continue to grow their services across Ringwood, New Milton and the surrounding areas and you will be travelling between the branches as required.

This is more than a management role, it’s an opportunity to help shape and build a growing area of the business, develop their care services and play an important part in their future.

You'll ideally have at least 3 years’ experience managing a care team and ready to take the next step towards becoming a Registered Manager in the future.

What you’ll be part of:

  • Helping them build and grow their new area and care rounds
  • Developing and expanding their live-in care packages
  • Leading, supporting and developing their care team
  • Building strong relationships with customers, families and healthcare professionals
  • Overseeing quality, care planning, safeguarding and compliance
  • Supporting recruitment, staffing and service growth
  • Identifying opportunities to improve and develop their services
  • Working closely with the Registered Manager as they continue to grow
  • Sharing responsibility of the on-call duties
  • Act as name on call escalation contact
  • Support short notice cover arrangement

About the rewards:
Reporting to the Registered Manager, as Care Team Manager your hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm and you would be expected to cover on call evening/weekend should the need arise due to lack of cover. 

On offer is:

  • Salary Range £30,000 to £34,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • 28 days’ annual leave per year, including bank holidays

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care – essential
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a care management role – essential
  • Proven experience managing and developing a team
  • Strong knowledge of person-centred care, safeguarding and CQC requirements
  • A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for quality care
  • Someone who is ambitious, motivated and keen to progress towards a Registered Manager position

Essential requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK driving licence with own Car
  • Must live close to either Ringwood or New Milton to apply
