We have a great opportunity for a full-time Telesales Agent (no cold calling) to join our client’s new business sales team selling home insurance and let property insurance in Nottingham.
About the company
Our client is a family run business based in Eastwood, Nottingham. They have a USP and are one of the few insurance intermediaries who offer this proposition. They specialise in buildings & Contents Insurance and pride themselves on quality and service. They work with Mortgage Brokers, Financial Advisors, Estate Agents and many more where buildings & contents insurance is not the core of their business and who make referrals to our client, so that they can concentrate on other areas of their businesses. The company are now stronger than ever and have built their client bank up considerably. In 2020 they were awarded “The BEST GI SPECIALIST” in the midlands by one of their insurance providers.
About the role
As Telesales Agent you will be:- The first point of contact for new customers
- Selling home insurance/buy to let products over the telephone
- Dealing with outbound and inbound calls - NO COLD CALLING
- Following a compliant sales script
- Responsible for processing the sale with the insurer
About you
To be successful for the role of Telesales Agent, the ideal person will have / be:- Proven success in B2C telephone sales in a call centre environment (ideally within insurance)
- The ability to build rapport and relationships with customers over the telephone
- A positive attitude which can be maintained all day long
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment
- Excellent IT skills enabling you to switch between quoting systems with speed and accuracy
- Strong customer service skills to make sure that clients get the best possible service
- Able to deal with clients who may have questions and also need to make changes to their policies
- Required to help out on renewals during holidays and busy periods
- Outstanding organisational skills
About the hours & rewards
In the role of Telesales Agent, hours are on a Rota Basis working two shifts:
Mon to Thurs - 9.00am – 6.00pm / 10.00am – 7.00pm and Friday 9.00am – 6.00pm
There is a starting salary on offer of £20,000 per annum, rising to £22,000 after training, plus team bonus. Benefits include:- No Weekends
