Description

We have a superb opportunity for a qualified Waterproofing Surveyor / Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW) within a market-leading waterproofing construction firm based in Hendon, North London. 

This role will include travel to sites across London and the rest of the time spent writing reports as necessary.

With a wealth of experience in the industry, our client offers waterproofing services including waterproofing, structural repair and building preservation (such as dry rot, wood worm and damp proofing). Over 25 years they’ve built up a industry leading reputation for designing, supplying and installing waterproofing solutions.

About the role
As Waterproofing Surveyor / CSSW you will:

  • Carry out detailed property surveys in both commercial and domestic properties to determine the extent and type of water ingress, dampness or timber decay
  • Produce written reports and drawings detailing defects and give quotations for remedial work
  • Respond to all client’s telephone calls and electronic enquiries
  • Carry out surveys (mainly based in London) and spend the remaining time at the office writing up reports etc.
  • Chase work that has been quoted for updates
  • Build strong relationships with clients, architects and sales reps

About you
The successful Waterproofing Surveyor should have / be:

  • CSSW Qualified
  • Experience selling waterproofing services
  • A proven track record developing new business.
  • A positive, flexible attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Exceptional time management, planning, and organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and able to work alone and as part of a team
  • The ability to prioritise effectively
  • Self-reflective and self-aware with a desire to develop their own skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Full driving licence

About the rewards
In the role of Waterproofing Surveyor, the hours of work are 9:00am to 5:00pm and there is on offer:

  • An excellent salary circa £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Option of being paid on a commission basis (as opposed to salary) if the successful applicant prefers
  • 20 days holiday leave (plus Bank Holidays)

  • Travel allowance (to visit our client’s sites as required by the business)
  • Referral scheme bonuses
