We have an excellent opportunity for an HR & Recruitment Assistant to be based in Hendon, North West London. This role is a temporary contract starting asap until mid-January 2023. This role is full-time Monday - Friday and you need to have the flexibility to work some weekends between October and November.

About the role
As an HR & Recruitment Assistant you will be working with the HR Manager to build, maintain and grow the HR department with a focus on recruiting qualified staff for the Season. Responsibilities will include:- Assisting HR with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and issuing contracts
- Working closely with Line Managers throughout the organisation to identify required profiles of candidates needed
- Assist the HR Manager with anything required
- Onboarding, Induction, and Offboarding of Staff
- Supporting internal and external requests related to the HR Department
- Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic staff records
- Processing payroll and assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits
- Ensuring new starters are set up on the HR system
- Liaising with new employees prior to start date
- Supporting HR related training programs, workshops and seminars
- Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities
- Upholding Health & Safety within the company
About you
To be successful for the role of HR & Recruitment Assistant, you must have / be:- A highly motivated individual who enjoy taking ownership and accountability when dealing with potential candidates
- Effective at sorting through a high number of applicant’s CV’s at a quick pace
- An enthusiastic and focused individual who is self-motivated
- An excellent telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Able to build relationships with internal colleagues and potential new employees
- A keen interest in HR and ideally have previous experience of working within an HR team
- Strong interpersonal with good communicative skills
- Positive attitude
- Willing to learn
- Computer literate and have good Microsoft office skills

Experience of working within a fast-paced environment with a desire to exceed expectations- Can work as part of a team and manage change whilst adopting a positive attitude if faced with challenging situations.
- Able to deal with verbal and written instructions
- Interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in writing
About the rewards
In the role of HR & Recruitment Assistant there is a salary on offer of £12.00 per hour (c£22k-£24k per annum, pro rata).
