An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join this market leading branded housewares company, with products sold in more than 60 countries worldwide. This is a hybrid role based in Farnborough working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

About the Role
As Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for optimizing stock availability globally & working capital, maintain collaborative relations with internal & external stakeholders to support overall supply & inventory planning and your responsibilities will include:

  • Effective management of product replenishment in all warehouses adhering to agreed service level & inventory targets. Raising purchase orders/ arrange stock transfers taking into considerations multiple & clashing constraints
  • Liaise with freight forwarder and working closely with Far-East Supply Chain team on supply & shipment issues, order prioritization & ongoing KPI improvement
  • Review and analyse sales vs forecast, closely monitor any supply & demand changes & stock projections in all Sites using Stock IQ, escalation of demand/ supply issues & take actions when necessary to achieve optimized inventory levels
  • Day to day operational & planning support to any sales opportunities, considering commercial impact & supply chain constraints
  • Be accountable for materials data management in ERP and materials information records, provide the highest level of data integrity
  • Complete weekly / monthly supply chain reporting using various sources (tableau/ BC/ excel/ Stock IQ) & leading continuous improvement of department’s current reporting suite (excel based)
  • Super user of Stock IQ (demand & supply planning system), identifying any data/ system related issues & lead problem solving with help from Stock IQ support team
  • Support the Demand & Supply Planning Manager to maintain highest level of data accuracy in Stock IQ (lead times, MOQ, order policy etc) & updating forecast overrides by exceptions
  • Work collaboratively with operations department & Sales team to reduce inventory at risk & obsolescence & maximize stock availability
  • Ensure supply chain planning data & data integration between systems are accurate & lead any troubleshooting if required
  • Liaise with NPD & Product Management team on all new products initiatives to ensure accurate & critical information are shared internally to support a successful planning & execution of all NPD projects
  • Covering for critical task during absence of Supply chain purchasing controller or Demand & Supply Planning manager

About You
As Supply Chain Planner, you must be/have:

  • Graduate level of education
  • Proven experience in supply planning role within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, & decision-making skills. Strong Excel knowledge is a must (will need to demonstrate during interview)
  • Good understanding and experience of demand/supply planning systems, reporting system & general ERP knowledge
  • Excellent communicator (both verbal & written) capable of developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across all business units
  • Meticulous, resourceful & confident working with multiple databases
  • Experience in demand planning, forecasting & global supply chain is an advantage

About the Hours and Rewards
For the role of Supply Chain Planner, your working hours will be Mon to Thurs 9am to 5:30pm and Fri 9am to 3pm. This is a hybrid role working 3 days from the Farnborough office and 2 days from home and you will receive a competitive salary and excellent benefits which will be discussed with successful applicants.
