We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated and experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our clients’ expanding team of production operatives, TIG welding stainless steel products to the highest standards in Sheffield.

They are based at Sheffield close to Meadowhall and the M1 motorway and have a substantial client base, both locally, nationally and internationally with a number of high-profile key customers predominantly in the automotive industry with expansion underway into other sectors. About the role
The role involves working within a passionate team responsible for fabrication and welding of stainless steel components, working in an environment of continuous improvement.

Key Activities involve:-

• Successfully achieving the daily planned production schedule
• Maintaining and striving to improve, production quality
• Contributing to the smooth operation of the workshop

About You
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is able to listen/learn and use their own initiative, to become a valued member of our friendly and close-knit team.

• Has an understanding of preparation of and using welding processes
• Preferably experienced in TIG welding / fabrication 
• Honest, reliable and committed – confident enough to ask questions and seek assistance when needed
• Have a good attendance and timekeeping record
• Good communication skills

About the rewards
In the role of Welder/Fabricator you will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week and the benefits are:

• Full time, permanent position, Mon-Fri, DAYS ONLY.
• Salary £26,000 to £32,000 per annum dependent upon experience
• Overtime paid at time and a half
