We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our clients’ expanding team of production technicians, manufacturing stainless steel components, for the automotive, utilities and food industries based close to Meadowhall and the M1 motorway in Sheffield.

About the role
As a Welder / Fabricator, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and dedicated industry professionals to develop your skills, within a dynamic company which also offers the opportunity to progress your career in the industry and your responsibilities will include:- Successfully achieving the daily planned production schedule
- Maintaining and striving to improve, production quality
- Contributing to the smooth operation of the workshop
About You
As a Welder / Fabricator you must have a professional approach to work and possess the drive and energy to contribute to a flexible, fast-paced environment and contribute to the overall performance and growth of both companies and you must have / be:- Experienced in TIG welding (MIG advantageous)
- Able to produce work of a high standard within given time constraints
- Have a good attendance and timekeeping record
- Open to new ideas and make a positive contribution to the team
- Experience of small component fabrication in 1.5mm to 3mm wall thickness would be advantageous
About the rewards
As a Welder/Fabricator you will work Monday to Friday 42 hours a week and receive an excellent salary of £13 to £15 per hour dependent upon experience plus:- Staff uniform (including PPE)
- Daytime work only (choice of 2 shift patterns Mon-Fri)
- 28 days holidays including bank holidays, (increases with service)
- Overtime available after initial training (at 1½ x rate)
