We have an excellent opportunity for a Logistics Assistant to join this well-established women's fashion clothing supplier to high street Retail chains in the UK and Europe at their head office in Park Royal, London.
About the role
As part of a Supply Chain Management team you as a Logistics Assistant will keep track of import and export of shipments and be familiar with transportation mode, cost of shipment, and arrival times and your duties will include:- Assisting within a logistics environment of import, export and local deliveries
- General knowledge of warehouse operations,
- Outgoing Goods - ensuring orders are ready for despatch as per Customer Purchase order and relevant packing list, invoices are sent.
- Basic admin and stock control duties
- Establish and uphold relationships to effectively carry out your duties and work within a team
- Meet targets within scheduled time-frame
About you
As a Logistics Assistant you must have:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding and knowledge of managing paper and electronic files
- Proven experience in stock control and a good knowledge of hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics (NAV)
- Work well under pressure
- Have excellent planning and multi-tasking skills to effectively prioritize and handle multiple assignments
- Be willing to and able to work flexible hours as required
About the Rewards
As a Logistics Assistant you will receive a salary of £22,000 to £25,000 per annum depending on experience and you will also receive:- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
