Exciting News! Porsche Retail Group is expanding our team and we have an excellent opportunity for a Site Logistics and Vehicle Coordinator to work for one of the world’s most iconic brands and join the prestigious Porsche Centre Reading. This state of art newly refurbished showroom will be the first “Destination Porsche” Centre in the UK. The Centre shares a site with Porsche Central Operations and both the Porsche Retail Group and Porsche Cars Great Britain Head Offices, with shared facilities including an onsite restaurant, coffee bar and parking. The site is also located within walking distance of a local shopping park.

About the role
As Site Logistics and Vehicle Coordinator, you will be responsible for the vehicle compound and movement of vehicles, ensuring company guidelines are always adhered to.
Core specific responsibilities- Ensure the site compound always remains fully operational during normal opening hours, to ensure vehicle accessibility
- Making sure the site compound is kept to the standards required and complying with all health and safety procedures, fire safety procedures, security procedures
- Keeping the compound tidy and organising the movement and delivery of vehicles
- Receive and ‘sign off’ all customer and company vehicles coming into the compound, following the correct processes and procedures
- Ensuring strict discipline is applied to all vehicles handled and inspected
- Full responsibility for all aspects of the quality of vehicles entering the compound, including (but not limited to) checking that all paperwork, keys, book-packs, navigations discs etc. are in place and accurate
- Making sure vehicles are available for Workshop/Bodyshop preparation and collection
- Organise transport for the transfer of part-exchange vehicles to the preparation centre or other location
- Regular and clear communication with the Vehicle Coordinators on the flow of vehicles through the compound and their status
- Daily management of the valeting diary
About you
To be successful for the role of Site Logistics and Vehicle Coordinator you must have / be:- Excellent communication skills
- Strong teamworking skills
- Able to prioritise and manage your own workload
- Full UK Driving Licence
About the hours & rewards
For the role of Site Logistics and Vehicle Coordinator, on-site staff parking will be available alongside a market leading remuneration package and the support you would expect from a manufacturer owned Top 100 company.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm & Saturdays 8am to 1pm on a rota basis and there is a salary on offer of circa £32,100 per annum, dependant on experience. Benefits include:- 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
