We have an excellent opportunity for a CAD Technician to join our client’s small team based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
About the role
As a CAD Technician your responsibilities will include:- Producing Fire Sprinkler System Installation drawings.
- General office and admin duties
- Liaising with clients and staff to ensure drawing information is correct.
- Working towards undertaking site survey’s and attending site / client meetings
About the salary and rewards
As a CAD Technician you will receive an excellent salary of £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive:- 22 days paid leave per year plus Bank Holidays

About the person
The ideal candidate for the position of CAD Technician must be / have:- A self-motivated individual with ability to work under own initiative or as part of a small team.
- Working knowledge of using AutoCad 2D software
- Workplace experience in Building or Mechanical Services
- Computer literate and conversant with Microsoft applications; Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible working approach
- Full clean driving licence

Our client are specialists in the Design, Installation & Maintenance of Automatic Fire Sprinklers Systems. They are an LPCB 1048 approved contractor have an excellent reputation throughout the industry for a reliable service and customer satisfaction.
